Lyudmyla

Founder & Director
Character dance teacher

With a career spanning over 20 years in professional companies and marked by numerous world tours, Lyudmyla Metyolkina founded LM Dance Academy with high standards, generosity, and vision.

A graduate of Ukraine’s top dance academies, she trained and performed with the prestigious “Virsky” National Ballet in Kyiv, one of the most internationally recognized companies in the world.

Today, she passes on the rigorous and refined heritage of this school through the teaching of classical ballet, character dance, and early introduction dance classes for both children and adults. Her philosophy is built upon a clear conviction: dance as a tool for personal fulfillment.

Her approach is built on three fundamental pillars:

  • Cultivating self-confidence

  • Encouraging the joy of dancing

  • Instilling the strength to believe in one’s uniqueness and personal potential

Through a pedagogy that is demanding, nurturing, and deeply human, her vision allows each student to grow within a structured environment where dance becomes a true path to self-expression and balance.

Diana

Professor of Modern

Diana Lambert studied dance in Paris before joining the Ballet Junior de Genève. She then danced with several contemporary dance companies in Switzerland.

She worked as an assistant to choreographer Noemi Lapzeson, a former Martha Graham dancer. Working alongside her, she developed an approach to movement centered on breath, grounding, and expansiveness.

Today, Diana teaches contemporary and modern dance, particularly to children. She imparts a rigorous technique, enriched by listening to the body, breath, and the breadth of movement. Her teaching combines high standards, kindness, and humanity.

She offers an approach attentive to each student’s needs, emphasizing body awareness, respect for the body, and personal expression. She encourages everyone to develop their own sensitivity and personality through dance.
